    Mark Lewington has had a plethora of professional experience allowing him to confidently help lead this passion project with this wife and partner, Kay. Mark has held position of CEO, Chair of Board of Directors (for another nonprofit), Director of Account Managment, Vice President of Account Managment, and Director of Commission Processing all of which have taken place in the Hospitality industry. Mark currently has various board member roles as well.

    Mark is a longtime volunteer at North Point Community Church in various areas of production and care ministry.

    Mark is a proud family man that has a light sense of humor, making the most quiet and shy person feel at ease. Mark also feels a sense of purpose to give back with his wife to the local community and beyond.

    Kay Lewington has had a multitude of professional and personal experience, allowing her to strongly lead this passion project with the support of her husband, Mark.

    Kay is a dedicated operations manager at Harrisson Properties in Atlanta, Georgia. Kay ensures that all projects and properties under her care are running smoothly and efficiently. This demonstrates that Kay has developed the mental structure and leadership skills over the years to be one half of the driving force for Tea and Cake Recovery.

    Kay is a longtime volunteer at North Point Community Church in various areas of production and care ministry.

    Personally, Kay is the behind-the-scenes magic that helps this nonprofit have its welcoming feel. She is constantly preparing for all the weekly events, on top of being an active mother and grandmother. Kay’s lighthearted wit keeps things fun and fresh during meet ups and community events within the mission of the organization and in the general community; always giving back to others in a fun filled way.

    Lauren founded her nonprofit, Make Lemon Aide Foundation for CP at twelve years old, answering the calling to help children and adults with her disability of Cerebral Palsy in the present so that the community has a positive future. Lauren is a powerhouse public speaker, a talented writer and published author of her very own children’s booked called, The Dancing Swan.

    Lauren is fighter and a handworker, proving such by becoming a multi-time ballroom dance champion with professional sponsorships and bettering her body through a local cutting-edge therapy program for more than a decade, now being fully functionally independent. Lauren’s personal mission in all her endeavors is to be an advocate for others with differences when it comes to acceptance, inclusion, kindness, and love.

  • Alec Davis Foundation Co-Founder/Board Member

    Jeff is the owner of his own construction company based locally in Georgia.

    Jeff is also the co-founder of the Alec Davis Foundation to honor the memory of his son, Alec, alongside his wife, Amy. With the help and support of his wife Amy the Alec Davis Foundation was formed to continue the positive legacy of their son by contributing to the lives of men with Alec’s same affliction.

    Amy is an interior designer by education. She is the proud co-owner of DMC Home Improvement in Milton, GA. The company’s niche is transforming everyday living spaces into something beyond.

    Most importantly, Amy is the founder, and a board member of her own family nonprofit called the Alec Davis Foundation. This foundation was founded to honor her honor her late son in both name and purpose — partnering with Tea and Cake Recovery to help those with similar stuggles achieve a positive outcome while carrying on her son’s legacy.

    Mark Lewington Junior has seen the good that Tea and Cake Recovery brings to the men involved ever since he was a young boy himself. Now, almost off to college, Mark will be going to law school.

    Charlotte Lewington has witnessed the impact and importance of Tea and Cake Recovery ever since her childhood years.

    Charlotte has completed her high school education and is now pursuing a pre-medical degree. This pre-med degree has inspired a current passion and potential career path as a physician’s assistant. This shows that in her own way she is taking what she has seen and learned from being involved with Tea and Cake Recovery by choosing a field that is centered around helping others.
